Follow what sparks my curiosity.
Make thoughtfully. Help where I can.
Turn complexity into something clearer, more meaningful, and more human.
The path may lead through art, music, technology, places, people and ideas I have yet to encounter.
I don’t need to know where every thread will lead.
Discovery is part of the brief.

Bringing my mother’s stories to life in a richly illustrated family memoir.

The Beach at Miami Art Week
During Miami Art Week art was everywhere, even on the beach! Pilar Zeta’s "The Observer Effect" rose from the sand with geometric metal forms and inviting portals. It made you want to come over and play! Experiencing this arrangement of block metal, sand, sun and shadow with the sound of laughter and crashing waves was magic on the senses.

The Distant Majesty of the Cascades
From the plane, Mount Rainier rose above the Cascades with a stillness that felt almost commanding. Seeing Rainier and Mount St. Helens from above – so majestic, motionless, yet very much alive – was a reminder that these landscapes are more than beautiful. They demand our attention, our respect and our care.

A Photograph Waiting for Me
I stepped outside my Vrbo in southwest Washington to find the hill wrapped in morning fog, with one tree holding the entire scene together. I wasn’t looking for a photograph, but its stillness and quiet presence made me stop in my slippers. Some moments ask to be noticed. This one asked to be kept.

David Byrne's Dynamic Band Intros
At David Byrne’s Who Is the Sky? show, he introduced each of his 12 band members as light projections of their names appeared in the starry night stage sky, as well as on the floor following their movements. As an artist who loves typography & tech, and a creative who thinks in human experiences, I loved how he reimagined obligatory intros and amplified them into beautifully executed moments of recognition.

I’ve spent my career finding the human idea inside complex subjects and shaping it into work people can understand, connect with and feel.
Most of that work has been in healthcare communications, where science, strategy, creativity and humanity all need to meet.

I’ve developed ideas, art directed campaigns, built brands and led creative teams. Through it all, I’ve been happiest close to the work, asking questions, making connections and helping something become clearer, stronger and more human.
I’m an art director by training and a creative leader by experience.

I’m a curious maker by nature. My interests move easily among design, strategy, art, music, technology, places and people.
Today, I’m bringing all of that into a more personal mix of projects, learning and collaboration, following work that feels meaningful, useful and worth pursuing.
My experience as a creative art director remains a living source of judgment, creativity, generosity and contribution.
This site gives it a place to keep working. Maybe yours deserves that too.
